Welcome to PJS!

Princeton Junior School's expertise in students from age 2 through Grade 6 creates globally-minded, empowered and joyful learners. Our International Baccalaureate curriculum launches a life-long journey of inquiry, action and reflection. PJS students learn to be principled, open-minded communicators with rich academic strengths and strong character traits.

Our faculty emphasize that meaningful work requires rethinking, revising and polishing. Time to take risks and be innovative is afforded in daily learning. Students are given significant opportunities for public presentation with immediate, direct and thoughtful feedback. Our graduates leave PJS as young scholars, ready to lead their own learning with confidence and purpose.

Praise for PJS

We love PJS, with its amazing faculty and staff, close-knit community, and diverse student body.  The Performing Arts program helps kids to build their confidence and learn to work as a team.

Michele Kushner

Children learn to express their thoughts and share the cumulation of their research with their classmates and school at every age. This practice has given our eldest not only confidence but research, writing and organizational skills most children do not learn until High School. I see the pride that my children have in their education and the joy they maintain in learning something new.  It’s the best gift we can give them.

- Michele Kushner

Alicia Vaughan

When I think of my family and reflect on our experience at this school, one word comes to mind: home.

- Alicia Vaughan

Rebecca Lustenberger

The International Baccalaureate program has given our children a wonderfully diverse education and a real appreciation of the world around them.

Bert Russick

Beyond the warmth and support our entire family found at PJS, our son also developed a strong sense of who he is and a love of learning that has helped him to excel in middle school.
